How to solicit business donations:
Share the Playathon Sponsorship Opportunities info sheet (also linked at right) with the business owner.- In order for the business to be recognized on sponsor signage, the donation must be received by October 1.
- In addition to the text on “How to Raise Funds,” tell the business owner:
- Business donor names are posted on signage at the concert at Bayshore Town Center, seen by an audience of approx. 3,000
- MYSO is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization. Certain gifts may be tax-deductible.
- Remind them what MYSO means to you and how MYSO impacts so many young lives and changes our community for the better.
- Before soliciting larger businesses, please contact VP of Development Rebecca Owen at rebeccaowen@myso.org.
