Join Us for Play Your Part: MYSO’s Annual Student-Led Fundraiser

Our annual Play Your Part student-led fundraiser runs for five weeks, culminating in open-house concerts at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts on November 1 and 2. These special events feature performances by all of MYSO’s ensembles and is our gift to the community—completely FREE as a token of our appreciation for the community’s incredible support.

As part of Violins of Hope-Wisconsin, MYSO pays tribute to the rich cultural legacy of Jewish composers and the profound stories of the instruments that have endured across generations at these Play Your Part concert events. As we honor the individuals who once played these violins—and the lives, identities, and history they represent—we invite you to experience music as a powerful force for connection and remembrance.

This thoughtfully curated program features works by Jewish composers and pieces inspired by Jewish themes, interwoven with music that speaks to universal ideals of hope, peace, and the human spirit.
