Kate Goerdt graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2013 with a Bachelor of Individualized Studies where she studied Spanish, Global Studies, and Public Health. After becoming a Preschool Spanish Instructor, she became more passionate about education and joined the Teach for America program in Milwaukee.
For four years, she taught Spanish I, II, and III at Hope Christian High School and Carmen Northwest High School of Technology. She graduated from Marquette University in 2015 where she earned her Masters of Educational Policy and Leadership.
During her time as a teacher, Kate led Spanish Club and was an Advisor to freshmen girls where they created and tracked goals related to GPA, behavior, college and community service. Kate is excited to use her advisor and Spanish skills in her new role!
In her free time, she loves to read, travel, be outside and spend time with friends and family.
