Miller Lite Ride for the Arts

1. Registration is due by Monday, April 28th

2. For MYSO to get credit for you riding, you must either register online and choose MYSO as your team or send your paper registration to the MYSO office (not directly to UPAF).

3. To register online, go to www.upaf.org/mlra and choose ‘register on a team.’ You will then be asked the team name (MYSO) and password (mysoride) and if you wish to register as an individual or a family. Then just fill in the rider and payment information and submit your application.

The ride benefits the United Performing Arts Fund, one of the nation’s largest united arts funds serving Southeast Wisconsin.

In addition to raising and allocating operating funds for 37 groups in our area, UPAF is enhancing its value to the community, donors and performing arts by serving as a community wide resource for developing the excellence, reputation and impact of our performing arts. The ride is the culminating event of UPAF’s annual campaign. MYSO could not exist without the support of UPAF and we want and need to help them as much as we can in this effort.

Ride on ...
When you are registering online you will be asked if you would like to register as an individual or as a part of a team… you are part of Team MYSO!!! You can select MYSO from a pull-down menu and then enter the password (mysoride) Registering as a part of Team MYSO is a great way to help us show how much MYSO supports UPAF. Plus, you get a cool ride tee-shirt with the MYSO logo on it!

Wow... Prizes a-plenty!
Also, be sure to check out the article on pledge prizes. There are some great prizes, plus be sure to check out the feature that allows you to create your own fundraising website that you can send to your family and friends. It is SO easy to set up and allows anyone who wants to support you to easily make a contribution online. Again, make sure you link yourself to Team MYSO! It will still track your fundraising individually for prize purposes but will also count toward a hopefully huge team total.

If you're not a rider...
If you want to be a part of the race, but haven’t gotten on a bike in awhile, you can register as an honorary rider. Just go through the registration process above and on the application there will be a pull-down menu of routes. One of the routes is “Friend of the ride.” You still get the cool MYSO tee-shirt and the rider perks, but don’t have to actually get on a bike!
